THE FIRST REGIONAL SPYDER CUP EVENT IS IN THE BOOKS!
Congratulations to Team Fuzion on securing the first spot in the Grand Finale

Baldwin Park, CA - The first of seven Spyder Cup Regional Events has been played. The event was hosted by the XPSL in Las Vegas this past Sunday, April 27th. The 1st place trophy, check for $1,150, and a guaranteed spot in the 7 team Grand Finale was awarded to Team Fuzion. We send a big congratulations to them and look forward to watching them compete for three brand new cars against 6 other teams this November. Paintball Addix posted 2nd place, coming very close to earning their spot in the Finale. They can try their luck next time at Regional Event #2 in Syracuse, UT on May 24th.

The top placing teams in Las Vegas for Spyder Cup Regional Event #1:

1st place - Team Fuzion
Took home $1,150 and secured a spot in the Spyder Cup Grand Finale for a chance to win 3 cars (Mazda3 hatchbacks).

2nd place - Paintball Addix
Took home (3) Xbox 360 Game Consoles.

3rd place - Team Ugly
Took home (3) Microsoft Zune 8GB MP3 Player.

4th place - LV Effects
Took home (3) Flip Video Camcorders.

The Spyder Cup is an amateur level 3-man paintball tournament where teams compete using Spyder brand paintball markers. In the past 8 years Spyder has awarded 15 cars and $1000’s in prizes through the Spyder Cup Tournament. Tournament information is available at www.spyder.tv.
