i an looking to buy a woodsball gun and wont do know if i should save for a SP-8 or a 98 custom.

They are two totally different markers. IIRC, the SP-8 is an Ion, in a mil-sim body, while the 98 is a basic entry level blowback marker. If you're looking at the 98, look instead at either the MR-1 or 2, they will be about the same price, are much easier to upgrade, respond well to basic upgrades and look a heck of a lot more mil-sim than the 98 does.

Ya. Just use your VS2. No point in buy another marker since you wont need it.

If you really want an honest comparison between the SP-8 and the 98C, the SP-8 blows the 98c out of the water, they're not even in the same range. However, you'll need to use HPA with the SP-8.
