![]() Does anybody have the same problem with the rear butt stock on the gun when you are wearing a mask. I bought the MR2 a couple of weeks ago and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I put on the stock and everything fits fine but when I put my mask on I cannot see down my crossman laser sight. I was forced to take it off the stock to utilize the laser sight but I really enjoy the feel of the stock up agaist my shoulder. I was going to remove the top bar on the stock but it would weaken it and it would look bad. So I sanded enough of it off to see the dot at the top of the sight window. Does anybody have a solution or a better way?
P.S. I will later post a picture of the sanded stock (still in progress) |

![]() I just brought a M16 carry handle and mounted my red dot on it so it's high enough for me to see tru it even with a mask.

![]() You do always have the option to buy an Offset Rail Mount. But i would reccomend the M16 Carry Handle.

![]() I chose to cut the stock. I removed the top bar and 1/3 of the butt plate (shoulder portion). I was surprised to find that the stock is still very strong! I have played with it four times and just finished our first "Big" scenario game in our area and mine is doing very well.
If you choose to cut yours you may not have the same results as me and you are making it weaker. I chose to do it because I am not hard on my markers, if you are rough on your equipment this may not be the mod for you. Good luck! |

![]() You Can Also buy a Side Rail for the MR2 and mount your scope on the left or right side of your gun where the armor plates are suppose to go.

![]() M-16 handles, Offset rails and Riser rails are your options - I went with the riser rail.
As far as I know there are no real issues if you took off the top part of the stock. Sundragon have a tutorial on his site and it feels like a sound idea to me. But to be honest, its not the stock - its the problem with the rail set on level with the stock. Go with either one of those 3 options and you'll be okay - but you might need to try out which one suits you best. |

![]() What i did was file down the stock and I got longer screws to raise the rail. I will have to later buy the m16 rail but this is only temp till i get more money lol.

![]() Your temp riser got me fooled there - I thought there's a new rail accessory I didn't know about. Maybe you don't even need to spend more money on that
