I am either looking at a Pilot or a VS2. Both guns have great features but I don't know which is better. Other than the "eyes" that the VS2 has, I dont see much else but the LP system already in place. Both shoot 20 bps.
Has anyone gone LP with this gun and if so, what internals did you add: springs , valve ect, and how is the performance?? I already have a Stablizer so that saves some $.

go with the vs2, not the vs3, its very hard to rock the vs3 mainly becuase of the rocking trigger, dont listen to what people sya, its not as easy as it looks, i would go with the vs2 or the spyder pilot, just becuase its very good for the price

well here's what im trying to do.........I really like the VS2, but other than the eyes, I cant see spending much more $ on that. I can get a New Pilot frame for $30 with most of the internals, I can get a 32 degree front block (if it will fit) ?? and I have everything else.
If I want to go LP, all I need is a good valve ........ eyes and a board can come down the road but it is a lot better than what I have now ![]() thanks for the input.........what valve and spring combo are you using and at what PSI??

I say go for the Vs2. I at first got a VS3...its a vs2 but the vs3 has a rocking trigger as you know. I was turned down at some tournaments because of the rocker but dang was it fast!
Anyways, the VS2 to me would be a better choice. Your gun right now is nice man, dont get me wrong. But when a pro team is using a gun you're thinking about, you better get that one. (Bad Company)

I'd send me your current marker to be fixed, and then reconsider buying a new gun

Get a VS2/3. Whichever you like more. For 189 I believe for a brand new, LP and has eyes...What more can you ask for for under $200?

I have over $400 into my LP pilot and it rocks but if the VS had been available when I started I would have gone with it. It has all the core items that you want right out of the box.
Now it seems like you have a good start on an LP setup and just need to make up your mind. If you get the used frame for $30, and drop another $20 to $30 on a valve (I went with the bandit bolts valve [$20] and a NDZ high flow valve pin) you should just about be there. I like the trinity front block, but there isnt much difference between it and the assault block, either one will work. So that is another $20 used, $40 new. So the difference is $90 for an LP pilot or ~$200 for a VS2...I would still get the VS2.

True.......as I learned before, if you try and be cheap, it will always bite you in the @ss later. Thanks for helping me decide, guess my paycheck is going towards the VS2
![]() Now to fix my broke LP Classic for a backup.....

What exactly is wrong with it? It is truly difficult to totally break a spyder, unlike higher end guns, they will take abuse, not like tippies of course, but still.
