Custom Decals

I'm looking to add my own decals to my spyder. I did my own painting (which looks totally sweet) and now I want to add some graphics to the body. I have heard in the past that water transfers are the way to go. I have no idea how to do that and if that is truly the best way. I was wondering if someone could help me out with this.

I found a nice sticker for automotivce purpose and it worked great, I guess it was the same material as a bumpersticker. But I only played about 2 whole days with it so im not sure how much it would fade, But it seems like itll hold very well and mine wont come off if I try(well it will but it would be very hard)
