Are N2 and HPA the same

i was wondering if they where the same or not, i heard they are refered to different but theyre the same thing.

well technically they a lil different
N2 is just nitrogen
n HPA is compressed air

They're different elements, but they both do the same thing.

Tanks are generally filled with 77% nitrogen, and 23% oxygen.

Well, yeah, thats just the makeup of air.

The compressed air tanks could be used to hold any inert gas at high pressures. I.e. you could fill your tank with argon if you wanted to, it'd just be too inconvenient to bother with.

They do store in the same containers but if you could actually find someone filling pure Nitrogen, you would have to retune your gun. It has a different density than compressed air.

Myeh? I know people use pure N2 vwjimmy, you can rent 6k psi tanks from welding shops I believe.

Besides, air being primarily n2 as it is, I'm going to doubt that it'd be too much different. As I was saying though, you could use argon if you wanted and it'd be fine, its just another inert gas.

Also think about it, co2 and HPA have significantly different densities, but spyders will run well on both. Co2 is much more dense, and thats why LP spyders run better on it, it provides more mass to recock the gun.
