Bah, I'd say you're pretty much set for the moment. I'd just suggest picking up a decent clamping feedneck, I'm a fan of NDZs, but the CCM is also very popular.
If you really want to get into modding up your pilot, I'd suggest checking out www.ottersccustoms.com/project.html first. After you've read up and learned a bit more come back and ask again .

a vertical adapter is a vertical adapter. two popular ones are the check it products 15* assault block which sets the regulator at a fifteen degree angle forward, and the Trinity Front Block, these come in two styles, one sets your reg at a forward 15* angle like the assault block and the other sets the reg at a reverse angle of either 7* or 15* (i cant remember which one, since i have seen each angle on many different websites, so im not really sure which one is the true angle.) the reason you should get a new v/a is to increase the airflow from your tank to the gun, and so that you can screw in an aftermarket regulator. the regulators i would recommend are the palmers Stabilizer which can be used with either hpa or co2 (and a good reg in my opinion) the custom products grip regulator which can only be used with hpa, and the bob long torpedo regulator which i believe can be used with both co2 and hpa but im not 100% sure. you dont need a new asa but if you want to have one with an On/Off knob then i would suggest the custom products direct mount on/off asa. as for an hpa tank, PMI makes some relatively inexpensive tanks like the 50 cubic inch 3000 psi for around $80 or the 72 cu inch 3000 psi tank for around 90. both of these tanks are steel but so they will be heavier than a carbon fiber wrapped tank that would go for around $150-200. buying a steel hpa tank is a good decision for those on a budget (like me) because you get the consistancy of hpa for a low price then later on you can upgrade to a 4500 psi carbon wrapped tank. if anything, you should get the hpa tank next then work on upping your gun after.

yes, your stock reg and v/a will do fine with hpa. you can buy a new reg if you really want to up your consistancy, but you will notice a drastic increase in consistancy just from moving onto hpa from co2.

50 ci is the cubic inches of air and the 3000 psi is just that pounds per square inch. in the 72 u get 72 cubic inches of air compressed until it reaches 3000 psi. more shots more cubic inches. the metal tanks are heavier and only go to 3000 psi so they are old technology and people want lighter and more pressure. so they have to go to carbon fiber to get 4500psi or 5000 even
