3 and 5 year tanks with exemptions
if i understand it correctly any carlton tech tanks with a dot number of dot-e-11194 was a three year tank and is exempt from testing for 5 years instead as long as it has been tested after july, 2001? is this correct?

Yes and no. E-11194 tanks are 5 year tanks....as long as they were manufactured after July, 2001 or have passed a hydro test since July, 2001

ok i jsut agreed to buy one was rehydro'd in feb, 2005 there for it does not need to be tested until feb, 2010 correct? btw i have joined the humungous hpa tank club with druid. 110/4500

nevermind just recieved msg he sold ti to someone else after we agreed on a price. I guess someone offered him more.

Here ya go Tripple xXx...My 114/45...in an Avon box lid, next to an 18" steel ruler and a typical CD...
 Here with my Ion and several tools/items in the background for size reference...a pack of smokes (100;s), Zippo lighter, roll of teflon tape, screw driver, pocket knife and the CP reg on the Ion is the long version...
