Alamo City Bolt Questions

I want to order another bolt from Alamo City for my MR2. Do the bolts still have ACS? Also how many o-rings should I get. Lastly when I click on it to order is comes up as a MR1 bolt. Are they the same? Thanks for anyhelp.

To answer your question(s), the MR1 and MR2 bolt are the same when ordering from Alamocitypb, I did a comparision with a friends MR1 bolt to my MR2 and there is not much difference(stock MR1 bolt / Alamocity Low Blow Bolt). As for the ACS it will no long be there, In my opinion you dont need it, I have a Halo B hopper, and havent cut/broke a ball since running the alamo bolt in any mode. as far as orings go, I would only recommend 2 orings, the thrid will tear up you ball detents. feel free to contact me if you need any help.

although it is good to get the 3 o-ring one because that third o-ring is the most crucial for increasing efficiency, although over time it may wear down your detent, if you get timmy detents it wont take too much of an effect on them
and i myself am getting a alamo bolt soon and am thinking about the low blow, eventhough it is a gas hog, my field has free re-fills

BOOstGhost, I would only get the 2 o-ring one. I have the 3 o-ring bolt and it was real hard on the dentents. I took the 3rd o-ring off and haven't tore a dentent up since.

without hijacking the thread the low blow bolt isn't as bad of a gas hog as i originally thought. with set up my pilot will recock down to 200 psi. i can only get around 180-200 fps when my tank is that low but i keep 285 from 400 psi down to about 270. the only thing else added is a 32 degrees turbo valve.

what bolt wouldyou recconmend a low blow or a normal 2 o-ring bolt?

The Low-Blow bolt does as advertised. not nearly as well as a flatline for a tippman but it definitely works. The only problem i have is if you happen to chop a ball you will not shoot straight until you remove the bolt from the marker and wipe it down and put it back in the marker. with my fasta and decent paint i havent' had this problem again but every now and then i could out shoot the egg2 with a y board and chop a ball. then life was miserable until i got off the field to clean
