Cool Striker?

Is getting a new striker worth it? im going to get it from www.sundragonpps.com along with a spli 50 gram microswitch and a new snapdragon trigger. It is called The spps Dragonfly Striker and it is $30. it is supposed to be pretty good and im wondering if it is worth it?

You have to be careful what you do with lighter strikers. If you understand how your gun works and are ready to get a spring kit to fine tune it, then go ahead. Mostly aftermarket strikers are for LP set ups. If you go too light with the stock valve and main springs, you will decrease dwell time and lose velocity. The main thing to be gained from lighter strikers is less recoil.

There's no reason you can't polish up your stock striker to a mirror finish! See Otter's pages on polishing internals.
