for xmas i got the Pilot ACS...this is my first electric gun (i had a piranha be4). I took her out today into the forest with a couple of friends, it was dark as hell and a bit cold (i dominated). The gun worked good until i heard gas leaking from the barrel...im probably going to replace the cup seal because i heard thats what the problem is most of the time.I'm wondering if its not good for the gun to shoot without the co2 but the gun on?

First Welcome to the Forum. Never hesitate to ask a question.
You are probably right on the cup seal thing. It sounds like that would be the problem to me. You can shoot the gun without the co2 on it, aka dry fire. It doesn't really hurt the gun. It might wear down the solenoid, although it would take a lot to wear it down, other than that its fine.

thanx...i forgot to mention one thing...when i shoot, the co2 comes out the back end...i think it turns the velocity adjuster too. Is that normal?
*Srry about the second thread...my computer has been acting up lately* |

I'm not 100% sure because I never used co2 but no. Check your o-rings on the striker and make sure they are lubed and not damaged.
Its okay about the second thread, I got rid of it.

a 68/3000 is a pretty good size. a 72/3000 is also not a bad choice depending on where you liev though, your shop may not be able to do 4500 fills if you decide to get something like a 68/4500. i have a 71/4500 dye throttle tank. it's just the right size for me. it isn't too much bigger than a 68.

today i took my gun to the shop to get the leak fixed...they told me its gonna cost somewhere around $25...$20 for maitnance. They said that something is wrong with the cup seal and something else but they wouldn't tell me. I also haven't shipped out my warranty to kingman yet cuz i haven't gotten the receipt from my uncle. Am i getting ripped off at the shop? If i am then should i get the gun back and wait to send out the warranty and the gun to kingman??? plz help quick!!

take the cupseal out and lay a piece of very smooth sandpaper 1000 grit or better and put it on a flat surface then rub the cupdeal in a figure 8 motion a couple of times then reinstall. should work much better
