bps???

ok i was just messin with my spider pilot and i never really worried about it but on the package it said that it shots 20bps and on the little gage on the handle it sais 13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6bps and im wodering how to get it to shot 14,15,16,17,18,19, and 20 bps???? do u have any idea?????

the number you see are the rate in can shoot in auto. In auto it can shoot up to 13 bps. The 20bps they list is the rate its capped at in semi.

The answer to your question is; Kingman "advertises" the pilot's max rate of fire at 20 bps in semi-auto, the only way you will have any hope of reaching that ROF is to get a hopper capable of feeding in excess of 20 bps (not advertised but actual ROF, Z Egg/Egg III, Halo B, Empire B, Vlocity or Pulse) and you get either a T-board or similiar after-market board or you get really good at walking the trigger. Most experienced palyers can only achieve 15-17 bps walking the trigger and some a bit higher but not sustained. So in short, mod the heck out of your pilot and get a high-end hopper. With my t-board set at un-capped auto and using either my Z Egg or Vlocity I have peaked @ 23 bps over the chrono and can maintain an average of 19-21. Now obviously others will have different results and may have had better or worse. In any case, unless you are an experienced Backman or some position that requires you to provide heavy fire-power in support of your team, firing at that ROF is a complete waste of paint. To quote Sean Connory "If you can't do it with one-shot my dear boy, then don't do it at all".
