hi ive recently researched some upgrades for the spyder pilot im going to get and i would like to hear everyones opinion and if it will fit on the gun or if there is something better to get. even though its gonna be over a hundred bucks and some people will say its not worth it i wont be putting all this stuff on at once. it will be a couple of months before its complete. if i had the cash i would have just got a ion or something. im doing this little by little.

The tank is the most expensive part, a 47/300 will only get you around 500 shots...
I'd not get the APP bolt, and get an alamo city PB delrin bolt instead, APP is not a reputable part maker for spyder. Leastways, I never knew they even made spyder bolts at all. Also, I dunno much about that Warrior clamping feedneck, I'd stick with the known companies like the NDZ clamping or the CCM leverlock. As to the hopper, you might want to consider the Spyder Fasta loader when it comes out (supposed to be within a week from now).

Here's a general FAQ thread about HPA and such. I'd say 500-750 shots per 48/3k or so. Good brands are PMI, Air America, CP, Crossy, Guerilla Air, and many others. Look at the regulator test page in the link I gave, as well as the weights page. Yes, N2 = HPA.

Hold off on getting the break-beam eyes...They can be added anytime after you get the T-board and you might want to see how your ACS bolt does once its broken in. I tend to turn off my eyes quite a bit and let the bolt do the work, and considering how much work went into moding the marker for the eyes if I had it to do over again I'd probably pass on installing them.

i didnt know whether to add to this one or to start a new thread. anyways instead of the warrior feedneck im getting a lapco clamping spyder feed neck with no holes and a shocktech superfly top coking bolt. are these better or worse than what i oringinally had? and will they fit?thanx boomer |
