Dunno honestly, never done it... it's possible. The NPPL Rulebook says:
"Markers with any form of external velocity adjusters must be modified in such a way that the velocity adjuster is not readily accessible during the course of the game." Not sure if having that screw in counts as not readily accessable, or if it has to be modified in some other way...

anywhere from $2-$5 for a 20oz, depends on where you get it filled. If you play at an established field, most include all-day air with your entry fee.

If you're gonna be playing in tournaments, I'd sugest getting a new screw altogether that requires an allen wrench to adjust it. Just a thumb-screw in the right threads. Requires only a trip down to the hardware store with your existing adjuster and getting a screw there that has the same threading.

The lock screw does, the velocity adjuster itself doesn't.

Sounds like a good plan!
The stock one is a thumb adjuster.... lol... What I mean is taking that out and replacing it with a thumb screw, like the ones on the older Spyders.
