There is a Fasta Hopper review in the Member Reviews section....
I have run 'Eggys" (Viewloader eVLoution) with great success on my Spyders and they are a good lower cost alternative.....
You can break in an ACS bolt without taking the marker apart by cocking the marker, shoving something down the feedneck like a swab or rag, then attach your tank...switch on the marker and fire away until the tank is empty! It is the funnest way to do it and works well!
Congrats and again...

Yah, what he said. hehe

dry firing the marker is the most fun way to break it in... Its also the easiest way to give your parents or little siblings some messy pants.

The eggs are great hoppers. You can pick up the Evo2 for about $60, and they'll keep up with the electra just fine.

Also, I think the Freak barrel kit is atleast one of the best barrel kits you can get.. since you can match the paint to your barrel with ease, which guarentees the best accuracy. I can also say the CP's are nice. I run one of those and usually shoot xball or proto paint, and the match is pretty good.

I'ma have to call you out there, Oscum. "A comfy hand is a well shooting hand." If I'm not comfortable holding my gun, then I don't shoot quite as well. HPA can come after comfort, ESPECIALLY with a budget baller. CO2 will do fine for starters.

Seems like you've found the review, JR, so I'm not gonna bother linking you. It looks like a good idea, but I'd let it play out some before buying it. Noone knows how durable it is yet. Halo's feed 25bps and are $50-175. Just depends on what you get on them and the condition they are in. I think there's a Hybrid Shell'd Cheetah Board'd Halo with a delrin drive cone in the sales corner for $170, actually. For you, a good condition base model will be sufficient if you choose to go that route, and cost $55-85.

im not saying i dont reccomend the stickies. which i really do. they are awesome and so much better than the stock ones. they are very comfortable. im just saying that hpa will really improve the guns perfomance. maybe your right. its just a personal preference. that is what most people here suggest and base advice from.

Yeah, your preference isn't "wrong" in any sense, but with a limited budget, I'd personally prefer to be shooting comfortably and well with CO2. I've done it for a long time up until I moved to high-ends that required HPA, and never had a big problem with it.

You mean the set-screw on the adjuster, or the adjuster itself?

The cold is from the thermodynamic properties of CO2, which requires great amounts of energy to turn from a liquid to a gas, and sucks it from the heat from the air around it.
...Basically, the CO2 made it cold. It's normal for higher rates of fire to see "frost" or "snow" coming out the front of the barrel. It's normal for it, and expected, and will normally not harm your marker.

I'd reccommend getting gloves for the cold, even if they're simple knit ones. Paintball specific ones offer some grip and armor to make it more comfortable during play, though.

Ah, Druid has the thread list in the general forums. I think it's 4-40's metric equivelent offhand.
