why wouldnt you want something a little older, so you dont spend as much money, but also have that $$ to spend on entry and paint...as well as other new stuff?

my vote: older gun, maybe a lower 06 model or a nice 05, and get a nice jersey or something, as well as alot of paint in your tourneys or whatnot, because paint isnt everlasting

Hell, I stick with Shocker because they're down to $350-400ish for a good one... The design's been around for a while for a reason. Get a good gun, hopper and tank that fit your style, but don't go out and spend a ton because all high-ends depend on preference really...

BTW, IMO, Ego's cost so much because all the pro teams use them. "Pro teams use them, so they must be the best!"

buy the way everybody My team colors changed so I'm getting bc paintballs black etek if it is still there because this new guy who works there specializes in ego's also gonna get a pulse to replace my appache so I need to make $900 in 7 months but I don't need it for the first tourney just want it

becides that $1400 in 7 months is $200 a month. If I work everyday after school and weekends because I have nothing else to do then that's easy with the money I can get for doing stuff for my parents. Like everytime I mow the lawn or plant treea or lay brick I get about $20

go for something cheaper of the high end guns as of now, then work your way up. I think that would be better .... or not.

most people I know don't even do chores but planting trees (usually 5-8) laying brick(takes 3-4 hours for the amount I do) and mowing our monster lawn that has a major incline

My vote is Etek All the way, I have shot one and I have shot MANY Ego's (05 and 06) and DM's and PM's (04-07).. I will tell you that Etek shoots right up there with them, if not better..

I thought this was an interesting comment.. Yeah, 06 Ego's will be at the 750 range, but think what the Etek's will be.... Even lower..

I say find yourself an Etek.. They are great markers.. I have a close friend that has had one since the day they came out.. He hasn't had a lick of trouble with it..
