first of all delete the other two threads and do not thread spam please

but yes you can you will need a HPA tank for your spyder and fill it only with HPA(N2, nitrogen, air all the same thing). works just like co2 but its much better and more consistent

Welcome to the forums!

Mod voice - Don't make two threads (or repeatedly up your own thread) on the same subject -

Kthx /on this topic

As far as hints to get it "working good", this forum is FULL of things to help. Just browse around, don't expect an answer the second you ask, decide which direction you want to go and start! Now, if you were to ask a specific question, we could help more.

For starters, here's Vike's top 5 things to get your gun working great:

1. New barrel
2. Regulator
3. Motorized loader
4. Clamping feedneck and on/off ASA
5. Nitrogen (yes, you can use it on your pilot. All guns are able to accept HPA with no upgrades required.)

Ok, wow! Man, my eyes hurt after that last post!

Here we go - HPA WON'T help you win. Practicing, playing smart ball, shooting straighter, faster and better than everyone else will....

Now, as far as size goes, that depends on you. If you can afford a 4500 psi tank, and have a place to fill it, then go for it. The preferred size is a 68 ci 4500 psi tank - gets about as many shots as a 20 oz Co2 will get you, more or less, depending on your gun and setup.

Also, the actual size of the tank is a factor, depending on how big a person you are. Some people can't use a big tank and actually prefer a smaller tank, say in the 45 ci 3000 psi. Of course, you're only going to get about the same number of shots as your 9 oz Co2 tank....

yeah i use a 47/3000 tank and i get ruffly 470 actual shots and about 30 more with major drop off (like effective range 10 feet).

you might want to try out a 45/4500 due to your body size (i dont know how big you are, but when i was 14 i was like 5 feet tall :/) but if you like to play back/not run too much and you can support it (plus youl grow into it) 68/4500 is a good idea.

and btw on dragos post id get the clamp neck b4 the electric hopper

yeah i would not recommend at all shooting co2 through an ion, better off getting a gun that can handle co2 or getting a co2 reg is a risky option...

no because the ion internals cannot handle co2 that well
