Default Hpa/c02? Noob question

I just bought my first paintball gun. I bought a vs3. Im hearing that c02 should not be used for this gun. I also bought a Pure energy 45/3000 c02/n2 tank for my gun. Will this tank also hold High pressure? Im guessing yes for the fact its a 3000psi tank. But i dont know.

the pressure issue is not the tank but the valve that allows the air flow from it.

and there is no CO2/N2 (combination) tank. It's either a CO2 OR an N2 tank. Period. CO2 is directly filled through the pin valve and N2/HPA is filled through a nipple on the side of the valve.
