Ok I have been labeled as the spyder guy in my area and now people are asking me to fix their markers. I was given an mr1 with a leak that was supposedly coming from the side of the marker body? I said I would look at it. Aired it up tonight and no leak. but the entire inside of the marker has an oily residue all over it and it is black when you whipe it off. Any ideas out there? Is this common on the mr series until you get them broken in and cleaned out real well?

Could be from wear and worn on the bolt and hammer in the gun....I did have a little blackness in my marker the first few times I used it in the oil in the gun....if anything wipe it clean re oil and run through a tank of air to see....only thing I can think of

well i ahve a cold but i have found out what it was. The owner has been sing wd40 and my stuffy nose couldn't smell it. The back is wear frm the gun from the abrasiveness of the wd40 and the orings are all dried out. amazed they still sealed everything up. gonna clean it up uwith gold cup and replace the orings hopefully it will stay runnning
