Default Barrel Length

i have a 14" kit, would it be wise to purchase a 10" tip as well?

I personally feel that a 14" barrel is just right; I wouldn't pay the extra and change it myself.

uh...because some people don't like 14in of metal sticking out of the front of their gun.

you want a barrel between 10-16in. The barrel does not effect the rof. People actually like to use longer barrels for speedball because you can push around the air bunkers much easier.
