Its generally a good idea to make sure that everythings cleaned and lubed when somethings not working right. I actually strip my gun down the entire way, and run water through the body quite frequently, in fact after any day of play in which I chop.

I'd say about 250psi-ish.

add that recocking prolems could also be because of to High pressure, such as the spring does not have enought strength to move the cup seal, this problem happend to me when i was using co2 when it was very cold out, some liquid co got into my gun, spiked the guns psi to where the gauge needle was hitting the "R" in "Spyder" on the gauge.

having recocking issues..... try shaving some rubber off the ball detents...I guess when the gun is new, the rubber ball detents rub on the bolt and restrict it from moving freely...first cock the gun slowly and feel if in fact your ball detents are rubbing on the bolt....just make sure that you do not cut too much or your paintballs will roll out of your barrel.....peace

The air leaking down the barrel is not in the list.
--The reason (at least for me) is that my balance valve was not soo balance. It couldn't move fully to the "closed" position to stop the air flow through the barrel. This is very simple to fix. I took apart everything and took out the valve. I noticed the valve pin didnt move very well even though it was covered oil lube from the factory. So I cleaned off all the oil/lube that was on it and reapplied oil/lube to it. Make sure to get some inside the valve because there are a few small o-rings in side or take it apart and lube them directly(probably not needed). After it was lubed/oiled the valve seemed more smother in its movement. Put everything back together and all was well. I shot a few times and it seemed to be working. Couldnt try it more because my dog was freaking out cause i was firing inside (Also not recommended =P ). NOTE: I cant wait to get out and actually shoot over a crono because from dryfireing and playing around in the back yard everything runs pretty smooth at about 225psi. I just have no idea what my fps. =P |

Also are you useng a HPA tank and not a LPA tank? a low pressure tank that has an output of (i think 250-300?) wich has a lower recharge rate. I always use HPA wich has an output of 850 wich will supply any LP gun (just make shure u hav a reg LOL)

Well if ur reg isnt broken in it might be that. or if your running A LPA tank at only 450psi it might be shootdown. |
