what color is it, invest in some smoke or clear shells so you can see what the heck you're doing.

I can't use clear because they are banned from some tournaments. I believe it is because it is harder for the refs to see hopper hits. And smoke, I hate it. Black fo' sho'.

I don't really play at a field, but there are two speedball fields I go to: Santa Clara Paintball and Sunol Paintball. Bear Creek just opened an indoor field up in Milpitas, so I might check that out soon. The reason for the shells is well, I might get on a team soon here and want to be legal.

Lay everything in the left side of the shell. The side where the switch is. I put a piece of tape over the extra hole(where the speed control dial used to be) from the outside and filled the inside area with hot glue so no paint would get into the hopper then removed the tape after the glue was completely hardened. From there it's just a matter of making sure all the parts are in the correct slots and wires won't be pinched by the support flanges. You're prolly stuck at the part where you have to put the shells together and fit the raceway/neck and large piece that the balls lay on in. After you've done it a couple times it really isn't that difficult. The part I hear most ***** about is getting the springs back in for the lid. The prob I had getting mine completed was getting the old screws back in for the lid. I had to drill the holes a little and find a tap close the screw thread to finally get them in. There was no way those screws were going in just screwing them in. Did you get the new shells with the thicker bosses in the front for the neck area screws? -

Yeah, I got that all done Drago. (Heh, I figured those out on my own for once LOL!) I don't have springs on my lid, don't like the feel they have. As for the shells, yes, they're brand spankin' new, courtesy of Durrel.

OK, Drago...I did exactly as you said to do, the only difference from the way I was doing it was that it started in the other shell than I did on my own. Still doesn't work. I think it's the battery tray, but I dunno for sure and don't wanna get anymore angry at it.
