I've got the Proto 1 piece and the J&J Ceramic S2. I really like both of them. If I had to choose and go with only one barrel, I'd go with the J&J. They are both really decent barrels and extremely easy to clean. As far as accuracy, well, it depends on the paint-to-barrel match.
My $0.02. |

Well, I've used/owned all of those at one time, and I have to say that most are pretty decent barrels for spyders (I'm assuming this is for a spyder?)
The J&J is not a favorite of mine, though on this forum, it is with most everyone else. It's light, nice looking, and quiets your gun down quite a bit. The Proto 1 piece was AWESOME. It shot straight, and was the only barrel to totally, and I mean TOTALLY, clean itself with one shot after a break. My friend used it on his cocker and it was amazing. Other than ugly, it was a great barrel. (This was the one I had to vote for, though it was close with the Night Stick!) The Night Stick was the first aftermarket barrel I ever bought. To this day, I think it was underrated because it was a great barrel. It shot straight, silenced my spyder quite a bit, and looked good on it. I'm not a fan of the Whisper - to me it's ugly, isn't any quieter than the Night Stick, seemed heavier than all those barrels and I just didn't care for it.

id just say save up for a better barrel, you wont be mad later.
if you can, get a freak barrel kit i saw one here go for like 55 used, which isnt much higher than your price range. but if you dont want to spend any more money, id go with the J&J, alot of people here seem like they like them

I love my J&J Ceramic. I wish they had a barrel kit for the ceramics. I would buy it. The inside is so slick and nothing sticks to it... its so wonderful for those without eyes and whom chop alot. One shot with another paintball and the barrel is cleaned.
