Im thinking about getting a QLoader. I've already looked at the threads in the MR2 section of the forums that pertain to this and have a pretty good idea about how it operates. I was just wondering what detent I should upgrade too and if anyone has already mounted a QLoader to an MR1 and if there were any problems with it. Please let me know. Im looking into this so that I can lower my profile. I'm already working on the foregrip which is where I want to mount the loader. If anyone has comments (good or bad), post 'em up. Thanks.

The stock ball stop should work fine. No mods to your marker are needed.
You'll have to take the largest mounting ring and form it around the foregrip. Once you have that done, just trim the tube to length, and you're good to go. One helpful hint, put a gear clamp on the neck where it attaches to your marker....they can fly off if bumped....spewing forth all your balls. Just don't tighten it too much(it is only plastic after all). There is a pic of an MR1 with the qloader floating around the threads somewhere (: |

while looking at the MR2 diagram, it appears that the MR2 uses an Ion styled rubber detent If that's the case, it should be robust enough to hold the paint. Just remember, the more prewinds in the pods, the greater force is on the detent.
EDIT: I remembered about the SPPS metal feedneck.....read here... http://www.spyder.tv/forums/showthre...ed=1#post55816

You don't have to do any mods what so ever to the front grip of the MR1 to put the Q-loader on. All you need is a ballpin hammer and some patience. You just take the largest ring and hammer it around the front grip snugly, and it works fine. The detent is a Timmy one... so it should be fine.
Here is a pic of how mine looks with no mods to the front grip: ![]()

The handguard fits any type of barrel, so its totally up to you on wich kind you want. I love my J&J though.
