Hi,
I just purchased a Spyder Imagine LED for my kids. The striker, bolt, and spring fell out on day one, because the cotter pin wasn't on the marker. The kids were smart enough to put all the pieces in a bag, but by the time the bag came home there were I think some extra parts added and maybe some missing. Like most markers I've seen, there is a velocity regulator on back, held in place with a retaining pin and a cotter pin; there is a striker and bolt; a spring; a plastic nail-shaped pin; and a doughnut-shaped buffer that goes around the spring. But there is an extral metal sleeve, about 3/8" in diameter and 1/4" long that I can't identify; and the documentation shows a disk between the velocity regulator and the plastic pin. If anybody could email me a picture of the parts in their Imagine I would appreciate it. ed fair (ed_fair@yahoo.com) |

Welcome to the boards.
I don't have a picture for you, but if you watch the videos on the Kingman support site link you will see how everything goes together. If that does not help I can get try to get a picture later. HacKeR

I'll grab a pic of mine in a moment; hold on Ed.
Welcome to the Boards, by the way. ![]() EDIT: OK, here is the picture, sorry for the low quality. I am missing the little disk you described; it goes as you said, between the black plastic thing and the inside of the velocity adjustment block. ![]() You insert them in that order, pulling the trigger (after turning the electronic trigger frame on) when it won't go in anymore. This should happen two times, and after each, continue pushing until you hit the next stop. When it is in, you will have to press on the back and stick the cotter pin through the hole, and either use a paper clip or the retaining thing that comes stock with the markers to keep it in place. Let me know if you have any problems! ![]()

Wow, thanks for all your answers! Nobody seems to have the disk, part # 27A in the following diagram:
http://www.kingman.com/section/suppo...magine_led.pdf The disassembly video doesn't show this disk either: http://www.kingman.com/section/suppo...c_teardown.wmv Maybe it doesn't matter then, or maybe the disk is stuck in the regulator? Gratitude, ed |
