Default Halfbacked spyder imagine

I half backed my gun further on the weekend and my gun is almost complete. heres the pics.

I still need to file and clean up the cuts a little but I need to go out and buy some sand paper. after that I just need to paint it black.

Wow, that looks great! How does it look from above, though? Clean cut?

yeah but it looks kinda weird because its silver of course so I'm gonna find a way to color it. I think I might paint the gun all black.

Get it anno'ed :P. I'm acctually considering geting my imagine anno'ed when I finnaly finish it, just so It can super ubertastic.

Its surprising that such a simple cut came out looking so nice, did you just use a hacksaw? The curved back that the vision cocking system leaves behind looks sweet. Great job.

Hmmm time to go at my imagine body with a sharpy me thinks.

I agree, that cut is perfect for the Imagine body, and it looks like you executed it perfectally as well!
You could hit the cut area with some Automotive touch up paint until you decide what to do....

I like the cut but I couldn't cut further back because I was using a table saw. To redo it later I'm probably going to use my drill press to make a big circle and redo the cut with a dremell when I get one. I'm not going to anno it because I don't really have the money and don't really feel like spending about $80+ for a color. I'm probably gonna paint (airbrush) the body all black and do some small designs in silver of my lucky # and stuff like that. All I need to complete it is a black barrel and black sticky grips and the paint. I already have a t-board and eyes my new clamping feed neck and some other stuff coming in the mail. I'm gonna be happy with this gun because I modded every thing in the gun by myself and every thing came out good.

A table saw???? The last time I saw someone put metal through a table saw, it kicked back and shot the peice through some safety glass. Not fun stuff... Do you mean a bandsaw, perhaps? If so, that's pretty damned clean for one! I might have to do this myself.... Hmmm....

I forgot what its called but when I remember I'll tell. I would have used a hack saw but I couldn't find hardly any tools in my garage because my dad closed one of his businesses and we had to put all his tools and furniture and supplies and all this stuff in my garage and I cant find any thing. I'll post more pics later when I half back it further(probably in December).
