Modified my VA's
ok, well after saturday, i was pissed to find that my va was the problem with my gun, so, i decided to drill out my rebel va, and my stock spyder va (some more)
i don't like the spyder va. the asa side goes right into the lpc area, then to the valve chamber, so there wasn't much room to streamline the air. the rebel's va on the other hand, is extended on the lpc side, and teh air travels diffrently. it goes from the asa to the lpc via a small hole, then another hole above that, from the lpc to the valve chamber. the first thing i did, was drill another hole going to the valve chamber. i did this by drilling a hole at a 45* angle from the asa to the valve chamber ( don't remember the bit size, i wanna say it was XX/64) then i drilled the hole that went to the little hole to the lpc, all the way through to the bigger hole bridging the lpc and valve chamber. then i drilled out that hole. i left the smaller hole alone, since it would only take air away from the valve chamber. then, to see how they flow, i used the faucet outside and seald them to it, with the xchamber on it (i just really wanted to see how well it would flow to the valve) the spyder va sucked. the water comming out, while going an ok distanec, was completly dispersed and was just a spray for the most part. to me i kind of see this as it having to much turbulance, and crappy flow. the rebel va suprised me though. using the same amount of water, it would shoot a jet of water with good pressure a good distance further than the spyder va did. to me it means that it's flowing very well. i'm going to try the rebel va when i get some co2. i haven't touched any settings on my gun, so that will be the only diff.

lol, yes, hardee's rocked. anyways, the hole from the asa was originally drilled close to 45* towards the valve, but then since it passes through the xchamber area, i cleared out the little spot between the two.
