up dwell or PSI??

alright i got a QEV put in the ion, based on things i read around ZDS PB and PBN i came to the conclusion to set the dwell at 14 clicks and the psi at 120. well i went to shoot in my backyard (i have no chorono until saturday) and i noticed that it was shooting a little slow, maybe 230-240. jsut guessing.


but when i go to the feild saturday i was wondering what i should turn up to get the higher velocity, the dwell or PSI. obvisously he PSI would be easier to do, but what would be better for my effiency??

ok well should i go to like 140 PSI and say 16-17 clicks on dwell?? thanks.

i have no idea, fiddle, but dont JUST raise one. raise psi alittle more than dwell if u want to keep an uber low dwell

alright i think ill try uping the PSI to say 140 and then if that doesnt get it at 280 FPS, then ill up the dwell to 16 clicks, instead of 14.

and if those both dont cut it, ill come ask you again, lol

Its better to run at a higher pressure with a shorter dwell, for effiency that is.

alright then maybe ill try to go to 160 PSI, and if that doesnt cut it, then ill start uping the dwell a little.
