republocrats (as kinky (next guvner of texas ) calls 'em) suck. id vote for whoever i think will do the best job and not be a slave to their party. but i cant vote, so it doesnt really matter. id rather have a free thinking radical in office than a hardcore democrat or republican. the radical will be more willing to compromise. well, free thinking anyone, really... too many politicians just vote the way their party tells em to...

Well, if we didn't have parties, it wouldn't be a system where whichever party controls the house/senate and presidency can do whatever they want. WIthout everyone dedicated t ocertain beleifs we could have a moderate gov't, not radical to either direction.

they should make a forefather's party, dedicated to preventing foreign entanglements and party loyalty :P

I can't vote till 09 but I would have voted mostly democrat because I just haven't liked what republicans have done (lower taxes for big buisness , Fighting stem cell research even though it doesn't kill embryo's anymore, and preventing gay marraige) ok those last two were more concervative vs liberal but they still happened under republicans
