Default Drop won't fit air hose

Well, I just got a Bullet Drop forward and when I try to put the air hose in it won't go all the way in. here's a pic.

Do I need an adapter? I don't know what to do.

Nope it will be fine. You need to wrap the fitting in Teflon tape to make the seal air tight.

does your hose connect to the expasion chamber? I'm just asking because it looks like it comes out to far from the side.

Looks like its time to switch to macroline. But, are you sure that the hose is the right thread?

It's like BAMF said - it'll work. Just wrap it with teflon.

However, why did you use the adapter for that? I'd look into getting a 90 degree elbow so that your hose doesn't stick out the side.

The hole on the asa is standard threaded. If the hose is stock Spyder, then it is metric threaded and WON'T work very well. You would need either:
1. an adapter fitting...metric female to standard male (because the male of the hose is metric)
2. replace the hose to get one in standard thread (but then you can't thread it into a stock spyder hole on the marker). Put a reg/expansion chamber in the VA and it will go in there though
3. Get 2 macroline fittings appropriate for the holes and use macroline.

My question is this...why are you trying to screw the s/s hose into the side of the drop? The hose would have a huge arc in it unless you get a 90* fitting for it...and without the 90* fitting, the hose would need to be like 8" longer to reach the front of the marker.

At the very least, get a 90* fitting...standard male and (whatever) female to put that s/s line into...and then teflon the threads...4 complete wraps will do.

I'd go wit hthe macroline option, get a 90* fitting and a metric threaded macroline fitting for the air-thru grip. Hobbyhorse has the metric macro fittings for sale now.
