I like it so far.
I've designed my own ION body in Autocad and brought a disk to a Buddy of mine that owns a machine shop with the body design on it. Hopefully I will see the finished product in a couple of weeks. I've increased my Autocad skills to the point where I think I have something worth producing. What do you think?

Ion's are a waste of money... You have to put $300 into them to make them shoot half way decent and at that point why not get a better gun.

No, I don't have a BOB to copy. I don't know what the inside of a BOB looks like. I'd need precise measurements to make it a BOB. Maybe the next one.

I have more mony into my Pilot than I do my ION. Only $50 into my ION. But lets not get into a Pi**ing contest.

Obviously you have never seen an ION Pro. For $279.99 you dont have to put anything into it for it to work correctly. It has the needed QEV, clamping feedneck, Freak JR kit, On/Off ASA, and better eyes.

Yeah, the most reason I hear people complaining about the cost of there ion, it's when there going and spending hundreds of dollars on frames, and bodies, which are all cosmetic unneeded upgrades.

The BoB is not super hard to do, you would need to design things internally also. The read banjo, donut and end cap.

But I do like the looks of it.

Bishop- Nice ion body, i like how u have ion formed in it(took me a lil looking anyway)

But about the ion overall, I had the option of an Ion or Ion pro(Sp-8 wouldve if i remebered it) for my first gun. Why did i have that option, because my bro has an ion. Hes had minor problems but nothing major. I cant really say i hate them but i do. The biggest thing i have against ions is most people have them. i do however understand why(thier cheap, light, and highly upgradable), but so many are out there. But overall i picked a spyder, best decision i made this year.
