i have yet to determine why you would buy a Rocket valve with two o-rings when you can buy them with just one?
anyone? justin

sry,
they make two versions of Rocket valves; one with 2 o-rings (front and back), and one with 1 o-ring (front only). i was just wondering which application the 2 o-ring valve would be necessary for? justin

The two o-ring one would probably be easier to seal, but I think it's the older one that maddman made.
The newer one with only one o-ring is shorter, making it closer to the size of a stock valve.

that was my assumption. i knew the two o-ring one was older, just didn't know if people were having seal issues or not. i don't have any with my single o-ring valve.
just needed to put that little piece of info in my paintball library in my head. lol! justin

First of all, I wasn't aware that they made a Rocket w/2 o-rings. Mine is about 3 years old and has only 1 o-ring. I'm thinking the 2 o-ringer is a newer version. Is this 2 o-ring Rocket for Spyder's, another marker or all markers? Maddman has a new owner Rusty Brown. Hopefully he runs the company a bit more proficiently than Mike and Maddy did -
Ahhhhh, I suppose I'll answer my own question; the Spyder valves still only have 1 o-ring. The one's with 2 are for different markers -

the top left picture on Maddman's valve page has the 2 o-ring design which i thought was older than the 1 o-ring design that is pictured on the top right of that same page.

Heh....sure enough, didn't see that. I was looking here. I suppose they put the 2nd o-ring on to seperate the barrel pressure from the striker pressure. Not really sure -
