I prefer PB2X and Splatt to APG....may just be me, though. Seems APG is too much geared towards the brand new player.
My favorite at the moment though is Paintball Games, International. I like the writing, the pictures are good, and it's got a little of everything for everyone. Little expensive, though. Not as bad as Facefull, which is why I never buy that particular mag, pics or no....9.00 a magazine is even too much for me!

Yes. I personally prefer Faceful, but if I were you I'd go to your local paintball store and flip through a couple and see whether you like 'em or not. PB2X is also pretty good IMO.

Splatt is also a decent one, i liked PB2X till they changed up on me with the format. Nows its meh..

APG has some good short articles for the newbs but it also has some other tidbits of info. Lot of ads though and pics not to good.
PB2X has greeat pictures but too much tourney stuff for my personal taste. Facefull waaaay to much reading for my ADD.
