I have seen someone pulled by a ref when he noticed a missing trigger guard during a rec ball game....

It doesn't even look that cool in my opinion. So I'd say stick with regulations and leave it on.

I have pulled people off my field for shooting without one. And I have told them not to come back until they put one on or let them rent a gun.

Jesus christ... there is no excuse for putting up such a sloppy post. I couldnt even read it untill I fixed it. ![]() But dont cut it off unless your going to replace it. You could find a machinest to make you a custom one and tap your frame and put one in. I might do that for my Zip Kit frame. The trigger guard is so small I always hit my fingers on it.

is it possible that you can leave a pice of it on? Because technically you still have a trigger frame, it is a piece that is surrounding the trigger, therefore it is a trigger frame :nododgy:

I think he's saying to cut off half of the trigger guard....
Let me put this simply, folks... DO NOT MODIFY YOU MARKER SO IT DOES NOT HAVE A TRIGGER GUARD. This is illegal at almost all fields, excluding those that are already illegal in the first place (outlaw, etc). Just play smart, and don't do it.

there's no insurance clause for "half-trigger guard" or "partial-trigger guard" or anything of the sort. Most times they look to the "stock" configuration or acceptable replacement that mirrors the OEM part...meaning...completely intact or completely replaced with one that has at least the basic [original] configuration.
