the vs2 and vs3 are better than the 06 electra because they have a newer internal design and run at 200psi. They are way better than the electra and they are cheaper than the electra.

yes..dual regulator system is awsome..200 pis is super awsome, and eyes..thats freaking awsome and way better than the electra for 250 bucks

To be honest, I bought an 05 Electra about a month ago. Then I started looking at making it LP. Then I heard about the VS series, and thought about maybe trading in the electra for one. My wife actually bought me the VS3 as a get well gift was I was having foot surgery, due to a paintball injury... So I got to fire my VS3 yesterday with the help of a friend and the VS marker feels nothing like the electra. Fires much more smoothly, and feels like a higher end marker. If you're looking at spending about $250 on a new electra, do yourself a favor and get the VS3. Even then, since its a new marker, a local store/shop manager may let you air it up and dry fire the marker a few times.
I think you'll be really pleased with the VS series.
