Default spyder Tboard on esp spyder 2000 help

hi I just recently go this esp frame with Tboard. I watched the vid on how to format it and stuff. I had the gun cocked though when i formatted it and when I shot it it just clicks when its on. Is this normal? I cant test it with air till the weekend. So my other question was does the gun shoot only when there is air in it? IE. when u dont have air and u cock the gun and shoot it, the gun fires dry... i think u should know what i mean. thanks I appreciate all responses.

No the gun will not fire without air.

In your blowback Spyder the air is what pushes the bolt back into the ready position. So if you do not have air, you can cock the bolt and it will fire once but that will be all. Without air what you are hearing is the switch activating the Noid. The Noid is what drops the sear so the bolt moves forward.
