I just dry fired my gun (had some air left from Sunday) - shoots nicely... but sometimes it farts (still stays cocked though) Any idea what's up?
EDIT: and sometimes it double fires?

Could be a couple things. If its only started happening when you were dry firing and you didn't have much air left in your tank it could have been just that, not enough air pressure in your tank. I'm not sure what your post play procedures are but I'd take it apart and clean and oil it, just to be safe. If it continues to do it after you get your tank filled again let us know and we'll start down the list and figure out what it is.
By double firing what do you mean. One trigger pull and the gun fires, cocks and refires? or Do 2 paintballs come out at the same time?

double firing - not sure if it was shooting 2 balls, I was dry firing and it shot then recocked and shot (as if it was on auto - but only shot twice?)
EDIT: When I was playing with it on Sunday I never really had any of these problems apart from the nearly empty tank farting

There is really only two common reasons why this happins one you'r co2 is low and two Sence you have the rocking trigger there is something calld (trigger balance) sometimes it will come iwth it form the factory or sometimes the allen keys will not be coated with enough blue glue and come lose after a few plays.. So look on your trigger and you will see 4 allen screws leave the top one and the bottom alone the tow in the middel adjust untill you have no more farting..sometimes they will get to lose or tight and cause farting..

Well it couldn't be his co2 because he has a HPA tank, Pure Energy 72cu 3000psi. It could possibly be the trigger but usually a spyder "farts" or "jackhammers" because A. Your opertaing pressure is too low or you tank pressure is too low or almost empty or B. because there is dirt/debris in your gun or it may not be well lubed. It may also be possible that the sear is either worn or maybe the spring isn't pushing the sear back up correctly.

I lubed it up some more and sorted the trigger and it works fine now - thanks!
