What marker to buy

my friend has around 240 and he wants to buy a marker He probaly is going to buy a used ION. But i want to hear what u guys have to say. Do u think he should buy an used ION or should he buy some other type of marker? and if u think he should buy another marker plz tell me what 1 it is. Thanks in advance

Tha used ION is what I'd go with, not that I know anything...
I'm actually about to buy a used Ion myself...

Buy what you want, if you can afford it. Test it first, to see if its what your looking for, just because everyone else thinks its a cool marker doesn't mean its the right one for you.

Check local fields, some rent markers other than the standard Tipman's. My local field does, so it is worth asking.

I'd Go with a spyder, i havn't had any problems with mine but you'd have to trust your gun

I bougt a NEW Ion for $240. Since then I've seen them new for as low as $225 shipped. You just have to know where to look. Make sure your buddy has $$$ left for a nitro tank too if he's getting an Ion.

Where do i (he) look???? and he has the money for a tank but were trying to find out how much it will cost...like say if he bought a ion for $240 then a lil bit he bought a tank and also a hoppers and a mask and thats it since thats all he needs...but should he just buy a package... so would a package be the best way to buy the stuff or should he buy it all seperately???

they sell an nice ion deal on ebay, where they sell a Halo Tsa + 48ci 3k psi hpa tank + ion for $350, not the greatest items, but its a good start

I find lately that used stuff is worth the price. I bought a used b2k4 w/pds and ups to come with it (CP reg, new board, new LPR, unimount) for $255 and I've got two nitro tanks that I bought for $50 and $30 shipped. B/S/T for tanks is a great deal, just make sure to look at hydro dates.
