Just recently I went to a local store and tryed the Dye Sticky 3's on my MR1.
The Spyder Sticky's have 3 screwholes, so they don't work. I also tryed a standard .45 grip, which did fit, but the screwholes don't come close to lining up with the holes on the MR-1. Sticky's won't work

I hate how the MR-1 grips are so crappy; how they wear down as soon as you touch them. Are the grips covered in the warranty?

I am currently trying to build some grips out of wood with a dremel,
Its the only thing i can think of, but i found this out: http://sealsactiongear.com/catalog/s...000_DETAIL.jpg made for real gun but it will do a partial job... |

That grip looks like it was made for a Glock 9mm pistol; the grip on the glock is actually thicker than that of the MR-1, besides that grip would not cover the entire "pistol grip" of the MR-1 grip frame. In the empty hole in the grip frame you might be able to put a piece of wood and drill holes in it so you can put on a die sticky, smart parts protouch, or other grip that would fit on other Spyders.

its not such a huge problem. i dont like how it wears down so fast, but i just unscrewed the grip off of each side, wrapped them with electrical tape, and screwed them back on. its kinda "ghetto", but works really well. my tape is actually green, and matches my barrel perfectly, so i actually thing it looks really cool
