Lense Light Transmission % Chart

This chart is based off the one in the v-force manual...it should be your guide to "which lense should I get?"

clear 75 +/- 2% lens for all conditions
amber 80 +/- 2% lens for cloudy conditions
smoke 45 +/- 2% lens good for sunny conditions
mirror blue 25 +/- 2% lense good for very sunny conditions do not use in low light conditions
mirror silver 20 +/- 2% lense good for very sunny conditions do not use in low light conditions
mirror gold 16 +/- 2% lense good for very sunny conditions do not use in low light conditions

Amber seems to be the best for indoor in my opinion, mirror lenses are really hard to see indoor. I usually just stick with a clear lense all the time.

wow thanks for posting that. I have a smoke lens for my Profilers and was not going to get the mirror lenses, because I thought they were the same. I am going to get some now for bright days.

I have mirror, amber, smoke and clear lenses for just about any type of light. The amber definitely make things pop and get really clear. I use them indoor, which helps a lot. The mirrors are good until they get the mirror coating rubbed off. Then it's kinda like a funky light show inside the mask. I hardly ever use the smoke or the clear anymore.

I think this is a good chart for vforce lenses, but a lot of people don't use vforce. Does this apply to all lenses, of just this line? I wish that they (vforce) would get some lenses like JT - the black to mirror or blue or whatever colors there are fades are pretty cool!
