Hi all,
New to the forum, somewhat new to paintball. I have a question about macro line. I have about 30' of 3/8 macro line but havn't seen it used before. Has anybody heard of it being used. I'm setting up a LP xtra and would like to use it. I have plenty of fittings. The fitting to the regulator fits fine but, i don't know what size the bottomline threads are. Any help would be great. if it's a stock bottomline then it's 1/8" Metric. If it's an aftermarket then most likely it'd be 1/8" NPT. Regular macro is ususally 1/4". That's pretty big macro
.Are you sure the macroline can handle the co2 ?? I'v been macroslapped before from other store macro ... >.< Leed i know you remember this |

This is not store bought macro. It came from an industrial catalog. I don't know if it will handle the pressure, thats why I was asking. As for the bottom line, I found out it is a m10 x 1.25 metric thread. I just need to find an adaptor to 1/8 npt.

Update,
I ordered a drop forward off ebay Saturday so I don't need the adaptor. It arrived today so I gave it a try with the 3/8 macro. Booooooooom! It didn't last too long. I think I will pick up a braided line. Anybody know how much they run for about 6 inches? Update part 2,
Finally got all the parts in. I put it all together using my LP parts. Started at 400 psi and it wouldn't recock. Took it up to 800 and still no good.Tried all of my custom bolts, valves and, strikers. They were all no good. I put all my original parts from my " working " spare xtra. No good. Last thing to try was the spare trigger frame. BINGO! Turned out the sear spring was streched out and the sear wouldn't catch. I put my LP setup back in and it works great. It is shooting great at 300 psi and is very quiet. A new barrel may quiet it even more. Still need to get a chrono to check fps but it is shooting atleast as hard as my stock Xtra. Going to try to test it this weekend. Will update soon.
