Striker Mod Help
Well, I'm working on my E-99 and turning it into a pump action, and i decided that i need to make the hole on the striker a total length of 30-35mm
I don't exactly have all the tools i need, so i was wondering if anyone could help me out on it. That, or would a dremel and lots of grinding stones work?

My 3 life mottos 1) Buy in bulk and save 2) Cutting in line gets you nowhere, except to the front of the line 3) If something has gone wrong. Its easy to blame yourself, but its EVEN eaiser to blame someone else.

So it's about 1.25-1.5"? With a steady hand, you could use a dremel with cutting disks for that -

You would have better luck to find some one with a drill press to at least get a hole started that you could work from. I tried to drill my hammer a long time ago and they are hardened steel, very tough to get any hole started in without wandering off the rounded surface and possibly knicking an area you don't want damaged.

would the drum type grinding attachments help any or would those be a waste of time? the problem is, i don't know anyone around my area with any tools that would be able to cut into it besides a dremel

you can get cutting discs for dremels

hmm...yeah, i guess it would be easier cutting the slot out with a dremel, then finishing it with the grinder
