Default lube question

Is it better to use lube on a spyder, or is it the same as using oil. Would lube be easier on the internals?

Default Re: lube question

i use luibe on places that dont move, such as the valve body o-rings and the stem of the walve pin, and on other o-rings (eg on the VA and LPC etc.) but on the bolt and striker i use oil.
dow 33 is good for lube, and 3-in-1 for oil, but i use sewing machine oil cuz it isnt petrolem based.

ohh and always put a few drops of oil in the asa b4 gassing up.

For a Spyder it is over kill to use Lube like Dow33. Yes you can, but it is not needed. A small bottle of Gold Cup Marker Oil is all you need.
