naw they were made in china
but locklids arent all that bad so far they're pretty durable and just press a buttan and PRESTO only bad thing i have to say about them is they're overpriced

The are overpriced and insanely big. They are way fatter than regular pods. Also, I hate the buttons.
Cheapo pods FTW.

Wow, you found the pod with the bean? That is nuts that LE DM6 is one of one, and signed by a random pro. I have been trying to find that for ages that DM6 is priceless.

I wanted that DM6 bad, but since I hate Locklids I refused to buy them to find the bean. Too bad you lost the bean...

And for all you skeptics out there, I found the pic on Dye's site before they removed it just so you'd believe me.
 Edit: Found the press release on my dealer website. 04.01.06 San Diego, California DYE Precision Inc. today announced the giveaway of a 1 of 1 Limited Edition "Jumping Bean" DM6. It has a 1 of 1 annodizing job, guaranteed to be found on no other gun. DYE will be putting a jumping bean into a DYE Locklid™ pod and shipping it out with other, random pods. Whoever finds the jumping bean will be awarded (upon contacting DYE Precision Inc.) the LE "Jumping Bean" DM6. Please see below for contest rules and details.
