So after reading that how can we allow people to post abbr. such as FTW or things of that nature? It is obviously vugar, harrassing, and hateful.

I am not picking on anyone here I just read the actual rules for the first time and saw that. I have to wonder how things like that can be allowed. Would it be the worst thing if we couldn't make comments such as that?

FTW = For the Win. Where is that vulgar? Now, when they add a couple extra letters, that's when it's vulgar. BTW - you just NOW read the rules? Hmmmmmmm.........

But you're right, there is some slang that gets used a bit more often than it used to here. Usually by the kids who want to push it a bit further just to say, "You can't do anything to me," or "So? Do something about it." The mods have been a bit more tolerant on these newer forums, and you can see what becomes of it. If we weren't, half the jokers with a post count higher than 28 wouldn't be here anymore.

However, a lot of times, if it doesn't get reported, it goes unnoticed because not all of us can take the time to read the whole of every thread - it takes too long and quite honestly, gets boring with the same old redundant internet crap over and over and over what with all the e-muscle flexing that goes on. But, once school starts up, it'll quiet down again. It usually does!

I really think it's stupid to say something about FTW or QFT when people cuss on this website all the time..weed out the ones who actually use the words before you say something about the people who are just using internet slang..

Sorry about the FTW thing...I am alittle Dislexic (sp?) and read WTF....sorry.

About reading the rules....they usually do not apply to me. I try to keep myself out of trouble. It is kinda like reading the laws of another country. Do you read every law when you enter a new country? I do not because I am not going to be doing anything illegal. Just common sense for most people. There really is no way to make someone read the rules before becoming a member. I guess you could quiz them....blahhhh!
