I have an older Spyder marker, the Elite model. I want to upgrade it with an expansion chamber, new bolt, regulator and a drop forward. I'm looking to drop around $300 into this marker. I already have a dye barrel attached, just looking for more performance enhancing accessories. If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks.

Well, it's either an expansion chamber or regulator, not both.
![]() I would go with a regulator, clamping feedneck, on/off asa, maybe a barrel kit, freak, pipe, whatever you like. Electro Hopper, and an electronic frame if the Elite doesnt already have one. If it does, you can always upgrade to a Tboard and then add eyes. There's a lot you can upgrade for 300 bucks. ![]()

I know there a two schools of thought on this.. but why don't you take that 300 bucks and drop it on a new marker?

as far as the regulator goes, which product is recommended? same for the electronic frame? And which bolt should I buy?
I've thought about buying a new marker, but i'm comfortable with this gun, and for what i want to spend, it would just get me a stock marker that i'd have to sink more money into. I'm not ruling it out down the line, but you know how it is when you are comfy with something that works well, its hard to get rid of. |

oh yah, what's the difference between a regulator and an expansion chamber? I'm pretty much a newbie. I've played a lot, just rec ball with friends, but I'm trying to learn more technical stuff.

Striker Spring Kit...32* ISP Nightstriker (Eaglelox) Sweetspot trigger 50 gram microswitch TBoard w/ breakbeam eyes Classic Intimidator eye covers Antisiphon tube for CO2 or HPA bottle (High Pressure Air, also called N2) The difference between an expansion chamber and a regulator is: XChamber - used for CO2 - it allows the liquid co2 to change into a gas before it reaches your bolt...until you shoot fast. Doesn't work to well with HPA. Regulator - CP and Torp are CO2 friendly and regulates the gas to the bolt...better for you and your marker

I know what you mean... I dumped a bunch of money into my Spyder and love it.
I have the CP reg and it is very good. As for the E-Frame the ESP CAMD Frame is a good choice. You can go with any drop you like, just make sure the bottom matches the holes on your frame, or you can get an adapter. As for the bolt the ACS Bolt is a good choice, I have the Delrin one, but it is not necessary. Costs: CP Reg = 60ish e-frame = 70ish drop = 25ish adapter if needed = 10ish bolt = 20ish total 185ish... Plenty of room to get other upgrades. HPA?? maybe HacKeR
