Default Replacement Stock | MR2

So lets figure out what's going to work the best here. We all know, or will soon find out, that the stock that came with the MR2 is more or less junk. It looks pretty on the gun, but is junk nonetheless.

So what I'd like to happen here is basically a list if possible of 'after market' stocks for the MR2. Also, pics would be great, of what you've done to the stock that came with the MR2, either removing the top bar, or what ever you've done.

Also, if anyone has made a custom stock themselves for the MR2, I'd be rather interested in seeing some pics or drawings or anything you've got.

Thanks

They look nice in pic but they look like they stick straight out which is the problem with the current stock. If they can angle down slightly then they would work.

By looking at the pictures these look like they have joints and maybe a little adjustable. http://www.jetcityspecialties.com/Spyder.htm

It's called modding the original stock, I can't believe people are complaining about a stock that came with the gun, that's already a god send.

Just saw off the top, it's been done.

i like the stock that came with the gun but that will be cooler if u do one in wood to make it look like the ak-47. or other possibility is that the company that do M4 style stock , they can put beige powder to look like the colour of wood.

Problem with M4 stocks is that they're straight, s you'd still ahve the same problem, same thing with AK stocks, you need somthing thats anged down. Maybe you guys should consider a stock mounted where the bottomline ususally is. I know a few companies make "Drop stocks" that are stocks coupled with a slightly dropped asa.

I cut off the top bar of my stock, it doesn't look that ghetto. I like the look of it better. I know the M4 stocks are straight, but I just thought I'd post that. Also, AK stocks are angled down if you look at pictures, I was thinking of doing that, but you'd also need something on the barrel to complete the look.

A riser on the site rail is the only option I have seen on the market. I am going to talk to some plastic molding freinds and see if I can get something molded with a drop down but keep a military look. I will let you know if I come up with anything.
