I have an older Spyder marker, the Elite model. I want to upgrade it with an expansion chamber, new bolt, regulator and a drop forward. I'm looking to drop around $300 into this marker. I already have a dye barrel attached, just looking for more performance enhancing accessories. If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks.

look into getting an aggitating hopper like a Revolution or a Ricochete. this will keep up when you start to shoot fast. 9v will do. a 12v even better for the Revy's.
down the road, a regulator would be a good investment to help provide consistant shots. consistant shots = better accuracy. a lot better than an x-chamber. consider also an anti-siphon tube installed in the tank way better than an x-chamber for keeping liquid CO2 out of your marker.. read my Upgrades - F.A.Q. for more ideas on good and bad upgrades that i suggest. the above (barrel, revy, regulator) should be gotten in that order. also would not hurt to get a toolbox together with tools and spare parts. for close to no cost upgrades and improvements, check out Spyder Home Modification list. as for internals, all are fine stock. upgrading the bolt will not increase performance. also, replacing the valve will not help. unless you are considering converting to LP.
