There's also teflon you can buy in liquid form. We got it at work plumber's use it. Can't remember the name of it though.

i use both blue loctite and teflon tape. i just use whatever i grab first

i dont know... i think 32 bucks for 50 ml is a rip off... ill use blue for now. btw i hate teflon.

however, Blue Loctite is not designed to seal threads and it is not rated for use on high pressure fittings. It is great for locking the screws that hold everything together though.
The liquid Teflon is more of a paste than a true liquid. 545 is a liquid that gets into the groves very well and is high pressure rated so things wont "pop" HacKeR

i saw some loctiete at a store for like 4.99 is that the right price it said thread sealer but t was only 4.99. Please respond.

You got three different loctite's
Green- You put it on the outside of threads after they have been threaded in. Blue- You put it on the thread's then thread it in. Red- You put it on the thread's then thread it in. The difference between read and blue is that red is not coming undone without heating it up. JB. |
