The palmers stab is the best co2 reg yu can buy, I have one, and I like it.

Recharge is the rate at which the reg re-measures out the air. So say with slow recharge if you shoot fast, your velocity will dip lower and lower. Whether or not you have co2 on hpa doesn't matter, though co2 doen't work if you plan to shoot fast for a long time.

I have a 2-Liter and It is a GREAT Reg.. It is STRICTLY for HPA only though.. If you plan on using Co2 with a Reg, then I would recommend the Palmers.. They will run you about 90 bucks, but are Worth EVERY penny.. And if you switch to HPA later, No worries, They also perform great with HPA and recharge the same, if not, better..

one more q, a palmer reg would work with 3000psi tank right, dosernt need to be a low pressure tank right

3000psi is the pressure of the air in the tank, not coming out of it. You don't need to worry about the output pressure of the tank with most regulators anyways...thats the job of the regulator...to regulate the pressure of the air.
